Rutland has recycling banks at 23 locations around the county, usually in convenient places such as supermarkets, schools or pubs.

Recycling sites are really useful for a wide range of materials that are not included in the kerbside collection (e.g. textiles, cartons, shredded paper).

Occasionally, recycling banks become full. If this is the case, then please don’t leave recyclables on the ground. Instead, contact Rutland County Council immediately and they will arrange for extra collections to empty the containers. In the meantime, please take your recycling home for another visit, or find a nearby site that still has space.
