No soaking or boiling, modern washing machines wash so well that real nappies do not need to be pre-soaked or boiled. By home laundering you can help reduce the environmental impact of nappies. Use energy efficient washing machines and line dry wherever possible.

There is a huge range of modern real nappies available. The modern designs are slightly more expensive to use than the traditional towelling nappies but still much cheaper than disposables in the long run.
